Mauri is starting her fourth-year as a PhD Candidate in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment at the University of Connecticut. While her research background is in avian ecology, her dissertation is focusing on topics related to landscape ecology, conservation planning, and exurban ecosystems.

19 Sep 2017: Leaving for TWS Albuquerque in just 3 days! I'm looking forward to a week full of wildlife and conservation. I'll be presenting a part of my dissertation research on Tuesday at 10:50 am during the Conservation Planning & Policy II Concurrent Session (Upper Level, Rm 240 - La Cienega).
9 Aug 2017: Summer has flown by! TWS conference in Albuquerque is around the corner and I'm looking forward to the renewed energy on campus when the semester starts in a couple of weeks!
21 Apr 2017: It's been a busy couple of weeks - a successful presentation at the US-IALE conference, a lab mate and 3 other NRE Master's students defended, and our camera trap paper was published in PloS ONE! A strong finish for the spring semester and 2016-17 academic year!
