Mauri is the Quantitative Modeler with the Michigan Department of Natural Resource, Wildlife Division. She supports the division in developing and implementing quantitative models for informing management decisions in Michigan. In additional to wildlife, Mauri's research interests include landscape ecology, conservation planning, and decision sciences as well as social-ecological dynamics of natural resources management.

Recent News11 Oct 2022: Looking forward to attending the INFORMS Conference next week! I'll be talking about my research on managed wetlands in Michigan - Mon, Oct 17 at 2pm EST (CC - Room 126) and on Tue, Oct 18 at 11 am (CC - Room 109).
20 Apr 2021: I had my first meeting today with the Executive Committee of the Michigan TWS chapter. I'm thrilled to be serving as the new Secretary! On the research front, field work prep is in full-swing for our wetlands camera trapping project! I'm excited to be getting back into field work. 9 Nov 2020: Our Writing Workshop is going virtual! Excited to be working with Jared Homola and the Michigan chapter of The Wildlife Society to deliver this workshop despite needing to cancel the in-person conference this year. The normally one-day workshop will be split over the mornings of Nov 30th & Dec 1st. |
