Mauri is starting her fourth-year as a PhD Candidate in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment at the University of Connecticut. While her research background is in avian ecology, her dissertation is focusing on topics related to landscape ecology, conservation planning, and exurban ecosystems.

18 Jan 2018: It's been an exciting start to the Spring semester - about submit a chapter to journal for peer-review; just got back external reviewer comments on my prospectus; started a new GA position at the Writing Center; and we already had a snow day! Bring on 2018!
