Mauri is starting her fourth-year as a PhD Candidate in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment at the University of Connecticut. While her research background is in avian ecology, her dissertation is focusing on topics related to landscape ecology, conservation planning, and exurban ecosystems.

4 Oct 2017: Had a great time attending and presenting at the TWS conference in Albuquerque, NM. It was great catching up with friends and alumni, meeting new people, and being fully immersed in all things wildlife!
19 Sep 2017: Leaving for TWS Albuquerque in just 3 days! I'm looking forward to a week full of wildlife and conservation. I'll be presenting a part of my dissertation research on Tuesday at 10:50 am during the Conservation Planning & Policy II Concurrent Session (Upper Level, Rm 240 - La Cienega).
