Mauri is about to finish her fourth-year as a PhD Candidate in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment at the University of Connecticut. While her research background is in avian ecology, her dissertation is focusing on topics related to landscape ecology, conservation planning, and exurban ecosystems.

10 July 2018: I am excited to announce that I have accepted the inaugural 2018 Bailey Fellow position with the Michigan chapter of The Nature Conservancy! I am incredibly excited about this new opportunity and will be Michigan-bound soon!
28 Feb 2018: I submitted my next chapter for peer-review! Super excited to get feedback on this one and also tackle my next research questions.
18 Jan 2018: It's been an exciting start to the Spring semester - about submit a chapter to journal for peer-review; just got back external reviewer comments on my prospectus; started a new GA position at the Writing Center; and we already had a snow day! Bring on 2018!
